While maintaining a rustic barn aesthetic externally, the interiors present an expertly layered fusion of elegant and masculine elements, creating distinct focal points. The standout features include a striking open staircase to the sleeping loft, crafted with a sandblasted oak balustrade and walnut treads, and an adjacent den enclosed by a bronze-beaded scrim and intricately carved black stone, featuring a suspended fireplace for intimate gatherings. Furnishings, sourced from the Hudson Valley area, span midcentury modern to Shaker and traditional antiques. The overarching goal was to infuse the living space with sophistication akin to a Manhattan loft, achieved through strategic lighting and distinct zones within the expansive living area.
